The Eastern Fat Tire Association (EFTA) is proud to announce the continuation of the PayDirt Program for the 2008 EFTA New England Championship Series (NECS). PayDirt is a way for racers to earn points towards the championship series by volunteering for approved trail maintenance projects.

The ability categories are Novice, Sport, Expert and Elite. Expert and Elite riders are highly advanced and experienced. They are able to ride the most advanced technical terrain and have the experience to know when to get off the bike and run. Experts and Elites are at the peak of physical strength and endurance, and have the mental stamina to ride through significant pain. |

Both the male and female age classifications are based on your age at the end of the race season (ie, how old you will be on December 31, 2008). Inside you will find a chart with age categories for both male and female racers. |

ClydesdalesThe 2008 season will continue with the both Novice and Sport Clydesdale classes. Novice Clydesdale riders will be subject to the regular Novice promotion points system; Sport Clydesdale riders will be subject to the regular Sport promotion points system. If they accumulate enough promotion points, they will be promoted to the next ability level, whether intending to race in the future as a Clydesdale or within their respective age class. |
